Life and Death of Stars

In Part 2 of A Journey into Modern Physics, chapter 7 has a flow diagram that shows the birth and death of stars of all sizes. This was figure 7.8 in Part 2 of the main series but was not included in the LIGHT adaptation of Part 2 for size reasons.
To compensate for the omission, we have included the diagram in this article an also on the web site. If you want to see how all stars enter the main sequence and what happens to them after the red-giant phase, then expand the image in this article, or go to www.modern-physics-journey.com and select IMAGE WALL from the main menu, where the flow-diagram is included. More detail about the life and death of stars can also be found in part 2 of the main series and the LIGHT adaptation.
We've also added to the image wall, two diagrams from Part 1, categorising sub-atomic particles through their electron content.
More will be added to the image wall in the future.
